Probably because it rains all the time. Here are some pics of some more interesting ones.

Have you ever seen a rainbow so low to the ground before. Just look along the horizon in these pictures. I know it is hard to see but it is cool. It is like it is just afraid to get off the ground. Maybe it is just a baby rainbow waiting to grow up.

and have you ever been this close to a real rainbow? I thought I was going to run into it with my car… amazing!!
