Through out our time of traveling, we’ve noticed different countries display their warnings in many ways. It was actually quite amusing so it became a hobby of ours to take photos of ANY silly sign we came across (whether warning or not).
A place that speaks Colin’s language…

Colin and I couldn’t decide what to do for a Christmas blog post, but finally decided on a “snowpost.” (Since we had a white Christmas Eve which is a miracle in West Texas!!)
So here it is… Snow from Around the World. These were all places we have been this year (2009) and witnessed snow.

Well, it was about that time. Our one and a half year adventure in Australia and New Zealand was now to a finish. We flew out Tuesday evening the 23rd. But before we flew out, there was some business to be done… the big trade. I must say, Jeremy and Eliza were a huge blessing...

While in Auckland, we met some awesome people. One couple (who oddly enough, live in the same house as the Robertson’s did when they were in New Zealand) took us to Muriwai Beach one day. We went late in the afternoon and stayed until right before sunset – which was around 4:30 – 5:00pm… early,...

Well the time had finally come to head to Queenstown. We couldn’t stall any longer – we were just too close. When we woke up this particular morning, the weather looked decent outside – even though the forecast was another cold front moving in. On our way into Queenstown, we just happened to pass the...

If you haven’t guessed, we had been trying to stall going to Queenstown until the weather shaped up. We really wanted to ride a jetboat and Colin wanted to bungy the Nevis – and needed good weather for that. And for some reason, we hit a rough patch that is just taking awhile to clear. ...
