Now that the wedding has come and gone, we are able to show the pictures of our super fun bridal shoot with Georgia! One amazing thing about Georgia, is well, besides the fact that she’s simply adorable, she was willing to try some of Colin’s – for a lack of better word - interesting… ideas. Sometimes his ideas work out and sometimes they don’t. But, when you have a willing model, most of the time its a success!
Now to some pictures! These first few were in this crazy fun alley we just stumbled upon during the shoot. The angles of the walls were fabulous and the ruggedness was perfect for some fun contrast. And check out those red TOMS! If you couldn’t tell what a fun and laid back personality Georgia had before now… the shoes should definitely give it away! (Yes, she even wore them at the wedding! LOVE IT!)

Not only is Georgia adorable and cute, but she has a stunning side to her as well. Not too many people can pull off cute and elegant… but this girl can! And kudos on bringing the fun props! She brought a few different items that made the pictures more personal and unique to their family!

I wish we could have had hours more on this shoot but we just ran out of time! The funny part is… it was one of our longest shoots ever! Thanks Georgia for the great time!

{matchless}photography – where, yes, we did say “fun” five times in this blog
Last week we got back from a relaxing trip to Minnesota. I (Andre’a) have a bunch of family up there that I hardly know and haven’t seen since I was 6 years old. So, one day we took a day trip to the port town of Duluth… the largest inland port in America. It’s right on Lake Superior… the largest (not frozen) fresh water lake in the world. It was sunny the whole drive there, until we just headed down the hill to the city. We noticed right away how foggy it was. My poor great uncle was apologizing for the fog and weather, but Colin was thrilled that there was fog! He said it made the pictures more interesting. The whole day Colin kept telling everyone the fog made everything look “erie” – even though we weren’t on Lake Erie, but Lake Superior. Gotta love Colin humor!
So here are the “erie” photos of the famous raising bridge on Lake Superior. It’s a very interesting bridge because it isn’t really a draw bridge. The whole platform where cars cross actually raises until it’s parallel right under the top of the bridge. You can see that in the photo where the boat is passing through.

I have noticed that since we’ve had such a nice wet winter and spring, the wildflowers look amazing! I was practicing and testing out some of my new camera gear and found some amazing spots to take photos. Here is a picture of some blue bonnets I founds as well as some green grassy areas. Usually they’re not this green… but this year, the color is awesome! Makes for some good outdoor photography!!!

A while back Colin’s dad had “Tai Chi in the Park” with his Tai Chi Concho group. It was at Kirby Community park in San Angelo. Colin and his mom both went as spectators and of course Colin had to take some photos. So with out further ado… here are the wonderful Feldhaus parents!
(Colin) I love my dads crazy face in the third picture from the top on the right… it is great.

Colin’s been wanting a macro lens for quite some time now. In his endless hours of research on the internet about different camera gadgets, he found this amazing find… macro tubes! They are actually just extensions that separate the lens from the body and allows it to focus extremely close. I think the “kit” that we bought was actually 3 different tubes. You can mix and match the different tubes to make multiple zoom options. Anyway, here are some pictures that we took using the new macro tubes.

It’s been awhile since we’ve posted some pictures of our nephew KJ. We usually get to see him about once a week. A couple weeks ago, Colin bought a new camera and wanted to try it out… so this was the perfect opportunity!
As you can see… our whole family looses a few IQ points when we get around KJ. It just happens…

A while ago we put up a post with some random signs we ran across in our 2 years of world travels. (Click HERE to see the previous post.) We found it fascinating how different countries and cultures portray different warnings or hazards. So why not document them! Well, that post was actually a two-parter! We have saved the best for this second post. Hope you enjoy.

the “no pooping” signs…

A couple weird bathroom signs…

just makes you wonder…

We took this picture while on a hike… and the ironic part was, the arrow points to where the trail goes! So I guess you have no choice – your gunna fall on the rocks!

Since we all know people who play sports… never get in trouble or go to jail! (You can tell this one was definitely NOT from the USA!)

REALLY?!?!?! makes you feel REAL comfortable!

A couple weeks ago we were able to attend Joe’s (Colin’s dad) TaiChi belt test in San angelo (at taichi concho). If you don’t know much about TaiChi, it a slower paced martial art. There’s lots of muscle strengthening and flexibility building. Anyway, it’s very fascinating to watch. You start off being tested over the movements, then advance to different weapons.
Here are a few pictures of the people being tested and moving up to the next belt color.
Check out Joe, on the second picture down on the left… he totally ninja’d the guy with the gun…

Last week, as most of you know, we had a snow day! Now for San Angelo, Texas… that’s huge! I don’t even remember ever seeing that much snow here! Colin and I, along with Nick (little brother and fellow photographer!) and Lauren (friend of the family) went outside to have fun and play in the snow. There’s not much to say so here are some photographs that were taken!
