A couple of weeks ago my dad and I (colin) took a little road trip to Colorado to visit some of my family up there. We had not seen anybody in a couple of years so we felt it was time. Here are some of the pictures I took while we were up there.
My dad catching up with an old friend….

The actual face on the bar room floor… 20 points to whoever actually know what that is.

My aunt is addicted to gambling… so guess what her and her hubby did?

And she actually took home some money because I was conveniently there at the right time to press the cash out button….. much to her demise…

a couple of group shots…

The rest are some family portraits I took after a fantastic dinner we had at an Irish pub…. hope you enjoy.

oh yeah, and a pseudo HDR of Denver Colorado, from Red Rocks.

Let me just begin by saying… this is one of the most adorable couples EVER! I (Andre’a) have known Georgia and her family for about 12 years now. It has been amazing to watch her grow up become the amazing and vibrant woman she is today. So naturally, we were very excited to shoot these engagement photos and meet the man that stole her heart!
We had such a fun time on our shoot. Colin had so many “awesome” pictures that it took him forever to narrow down the original 65 he wanted to put on the blog, down to 17 or so. There were just that many good pictures that just captured their personality and sweetness. Hope you enjoy them!
I(Colin) have had this texture file for a while now and have tried to implement it, unsuccessfully, to many pictures, but I am super stoked how it came out on this picture. I just love how this picture makes me feel…

Orange walls are super fun…

To me, these next 2 photographs show just how much they love each other.

Now it is the time for a little fun with the shoot….

Basically, I told them to swing around and pretend that they are ice skaters…. I think they did pretty good.

Kelly and Joshua’s wedding was amazing. Kelly is from St. Louis, MO and since I (Andre’a) lived there for a couple years, it was fun to talk to some of the family. This couple has an amazing story of how God brought them together. They’re hearts are so pure and sweet and I loved getting to know them. They both were interns at Johnson Street Church of Christ for a summer, which made their wedding full of youth and excitement. They got married at the Cactus Hotel – which is near and dear to our hearts. Not only were we married there, but it is beautiful and has amazing lighting. Well, lets get on with the photographs! Here’s a slideshow and some photos to follow.
A couple of shots of the bride and groom dancing at the reception.

Immediately after the ceremony we took the wedding party for some group shots. What a great idea and we got some fantastic shots…

“I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs Josh Baker!!!!”

These groomsmen need to seriously loosen up a bit, they look at bit uptight… NOT!

Before the wedding, Kelly and Josh took some pictures together. But the tricky part was, Josh couldn’t look at Kelly. So we had to get a bit creative and Josh was blindfolded for some of the time – But the photos turned out really great!

What an amazing wedding we had this past weekend. Kelly and Josh were such a joy to work with. We could have not asked for a better day set up for photography. Lots more to come…. soon.

Colin has knows Jack for quite awhile now… So being a part of his engagement and wedding is an absolute honor. His beautiful fiance Ashleigh is a gem herself. When you have a couple this awesome… we – the photographers – don’t have to work too hard. And they we willing to put up with some of Colin’s crazy ideas to get the perfect pictures. So without further a-do, meet Jack and Ashleigh.

Notice their chucks match their shirts… It’s pretty adorable.
