Last weekend we had the amazing privilege to take pictures at Stephanie and Jared’s wedding. Stephanie is going to vet school right now and Jared is a chef… I thought it sounded like a weird combination, but they are absolutely perfect for each other and a beautiful couple. My sister is a great friend of Stephanie’s and was a bridesmaid, which made the wedding that much more special.
Since the bride and a couple of the bridesmaids are in vet school, all the girls in the bridal party rode in on a horse drawn carriage. It was a stunning entrance! The wedding was short and sweet and very HOT since it was outside… but we finished as fast as we could to get inside to the air conditioned reception!
We’ve put together a slideshow as well as some of our favorites photographs of the evening at the bottom – so don’t miss them!
The sweet flower girl petting one of the horses that pulled the carriage.

The lovely couple

These next two are some of my favorites. I added some texture to them to enhance to the images.

My photographer friend Tommie Huffman, let me borrow her fisheye lense… so i had to experiment and try some cool stuff. I think they turned out great!

More fisheye goodness…

Wow, I cannot believe I am just putting up this sneak peak photograph!!! What a fantastic wedding we had last weekend. Stephanie and Jared were such an amazing couple to work with. I am just going to share this one image right now, but not to worry, we have plenty more.
Hope you like it.

This family is very near and dear to our hearts. We went to college with both of them and now get to take pictures of their family! Little Kenzie is only 4 months old and simply adorable! They came in town just for the 4th of July weekend so it was great to catch up and meet the newest member of the family. Now for some photos…

Isn’t she just cute!!!!!

This picture made Colin smile.

the model pose…

After much hard work at my (Andre’a’s) end, we got a grin out of Kenzie. I think Clay and Brit are actually laughing at me acting retarded just to get the baby to smile. But hey…it worked!

just another portrait

So, we flew into San Angelo on Wednesday evening the 23rd and got straight to work. That Saturday, the 27th, was our first wedding to photograph. We were actually second shooting for Rachel Russo. This was a beautiful couple and we enjoyed being a part of their big day. We started off taking some pictures of the bridal party getting ready before the wedding. Then following the wedding, we headed to a gorgeous home for the reception. Enough talk for now… lets share some photos. The first three have some textures added to them.
I love the backlight in this photograph… And it’s such a sweet moment between Apolynne and Blake.

A bridesmaid helping put the bride’s shoe on.

This is one of the flower girls. She was so adorable and I caught her munching on some snacks before the wedding… I don’t blame her!

The grooms father having the boutonniere pinned on by his daughter.

A moment of celebration after the ceremony.

First dance

Now, I cant remember if it was the groom’s brother or the bride’s brother… But, for their first dance, he wrote them a song and sang it for them. That’s him in the background singing – and he had a wonderful voice!
