Do you remember the scene in Prince Caspian (the new Narnia movie) when the 4 kids first arrive in Narnia? They are in the train station, the train goes bye, and bam!… they are coming out of a cave by a beach. Well, that cave is called Cathedral Cove. And we were there!!!

We are about to walk into Narnia… which is alot easier now at low tide.

We found this other little cave… Andre’a thought it was pretty fun!!!

It was a 45 min hike to get down to the cove and along the way where were some spectacular views. We just had to pull off and take this quick snap.

We actually took 2 trips out to Cathedral Cove because the first day as you can see… or really can’t see, was really rainy and we got soaked. So we opted to go again the next day when it was perfectly beautiful. This pic was taken on the first day when the sun was setting behind the hills.

About the same time as the above picture. We got to watch this storm come in. It was so cool, but we waited a little too long and got a little more wet than anticipated.

The next day was absolutely perfect. We even stopped to check out some other bays that were along the way to Cathedral Cove. Here is one of them…

High tide… not as easy to get through…

This is the beach at Hahei. Where we stayed the night.
